Have a cobra track and wanting to add studs. What length have people ran and brand. A 1.35 stud from woodys is not necessarily the same length as a rotein 1.35 etc. Also do I have to run protectors for the back of the sled. Going to do this over the summer..thanks

These are what you are running? I would like to hear from guys that presently have the cobra track, that is what I'm using. Also do you have to run deeper tunnel protectors? I presently don't have a rear heat exchanger. Also where did you purchase your studs?

i have a ripsaw with 1.4" studs and they are just about pushing the limit.with no cooler in back i wouldn't worry about extra protection. my best advice is to get ahold of richie rich from rich motorsports. he is a site sponsor and knows about all tracks and picks and what is best for you and your application.

I have 196 1.450 Woodys SS in my ripsaw. They are 3/8 of an inch beyond the lug of the 1.25 track. Hooks up like crazy. I lost a bit of top end but the launch is worth it. No extra protection and so far no problems. I think I can add the rear exchanger with no mods either.
