I attempted to pull my sparkplugs but am not able to get the wire off the plug. I attempted to pull them but they seem to be real secure on the plugs and I am afraid that I will break them by pulling to hard. Can you tell me if there is a locking device and how I can get them off. :roll:

They do come off hard the first time. Grab the whole cap and twist and pull until they come off, they will be easier after you remove them a couple of times. There is no locking device.

you need to unclip the coil wire first! then the plug wire will come out along with the coil,quite easy! Just give it a little twist as your comin out. carefull with that little wire to the coil, looks like that would break easy

Worse case you can unscrew them by turning counter clockwise and pulling at the same time.

Thanks for your responses to my post I was really afraid that if I pulled to hard I was going to break something. I will attempt to pull them after christmas. I would like to wish everyone on Totallyamaha a safe and Merry Christmas!!!!
