Alright, I will start off saying I had very lazy throttle response, after posting, I figured it was a fauled plug, Sled ran perfect over 5000 rpm and like poop from idle to 5000 rpm, and would not Idle. So I Went through and changed the plugs and it got better, still sounded like there was a dead cylinder.
Found that the #1 coil wires had melted a little on the coolant hose coming out of the head and was arcing through. fixed that and problem got a little better as well.
Running a Hindle exhaust it still sounded like there was a miss, and after hearing stories about these dobeck fuel boxes failing, I thought I might try removing the box from the system and run the stock mapping to see if it cleans it up a little bit better. I pulled the injector harness and left the map sensor wires still spliced. And the ground wire hooked up.
Pulled the pipe that runs to intercooler from the turbo so no boost would build.
That ran fine, sounded the same as before and the motor seemed to idle smooth with fast response and ran nice. Figured it was good to go.
Thats well the floor fell out. Replugged the fuel box back in, and now Air fuels went to 20/1 and it will not Idle any longer. popping out the exhaust and can't keep it running. Motor warning lights flashing and went through and no codes.
Did I just blow this box out?? How can I check it?
