Has any one put a push button start on their machine in place of the key?? If. So what did you use and were did you get the parts
Thanks!

Yeap. I got it.

I got the parts from a internet electronics shop. Nothing special about the parts, except you should get switches that can handle snow and moisture without freezing up.

One on/off switch for the ignition, and a push button switch for start.

You cut into the four wires going to the ignition switch. The thickest ones for ignition, the thinnest for start. 5 minute job.

I can take a couple pics of my setup tomorrow if you want.

I couldn't sleep, so i went out in the garage to take some pics for you.
The ignition switch is the same diameter as the oem switch, so it fits in the oem location.

Are you using a normally open momentary switch?

This is a kill switch with a momentary start button from a Yamaha sportbike. Its made to be out in the weather and the electrical pins slide right into the connector blocks.
