Does anyone know if it is OK to put the Apex on its side. The side pannels do not seem very rigid and there are no rubber side bumpers like the RX1. I need to stud the track and install a skid plate and this seems like the best way to do it, but we don.t want to damage it prior to hitting the snow.

No problems putting on it's side and no problems with flooding since it's EFI.

If you are realy worried about damage use a used tire and cover it with an old blanket roll sled on top of tire. Thats what I did years ago before there were lifts.

I was told by my dealer to only roll it onto the right side............otherwise it can drain oil badly.

That was the case on the RX models, but not sure on the Apex/Attak line.Ole Timer said:I was told by my dealer to only roll it onto the right side............otherwise it can drain oil badly.

Also, by rolling the sled on the right side, the fuel breather tube will be at a high point (it runs down the left side.) If you roll the sled on it's left side, gas will pour out the fuel breather tube.

I think the breather is hooked onto the right side with the line running across to the left side. Fuel should not drain out under any circumstances.
