Quebec ethanol content

i do know at some of the native run fuel stations have 91 octane rec gas with no ethenol availible. usually is the same price as normal 91 as well when i last was there.

AI google
Lower-octane gasoline is blended with 10% ethanol to attain the standard 87 octane. Ethanol contains less energy per gallon than gasoline, to varying degrees, depending on the volume percentage of ethanol in the blend.
..
Recall part of the issue when stored is the ethanol degrades , separates and you also loose
octane level .. Reg burns like 85...
Sunoco used ethanol 50 years ago to get Sunoco gold fuel ... 91 had ethanol
added to become 93 octane.
Some of the pump used to say "may contain 10% ethanol " as they were allowed to
leave it out when crude was cheap.
Find an additive you trust and add every time you bring fuel home,. Reminds me , I need
to buy some more .

I’ve found ethanol free gas at the Sunoco in Ogdensburg New York. I will need to cross the border to get it. 24 minute drive for me, but well worth it for ethanol free gas for my seasonal équipement and storage.

Apart from Og, NY, have you found any other ethanol free gas? At this point, it would just be for storage more than anything as we're stuck getting gas at regular gas stations while sledding anyway. I did an AI search and apparently Drummond's Gas on Merivale Rd. in Ottawa has 91 octane ethanol free but I would have to confirm first.

Interesting, I haven’t continued to look any further since Ogdensburg station is 24 minutes from me. I’m going to grab some in Ogdensburg for my small engines that I don’t use frequently and also for storage for powersports. Where you from Mooseman

Oh, Greely , about 30 minutes from me. I will post if I find any other Ethanol free

Went to Ogdensburg today to get some ethanol free gas. Paid 82.19 CDN for roughly 45 liters of Rec 90 gas at the Sunoco there, did the math, the Esso in Iroquois where I live is 189.9 for premium, would have been 85.46 if I purchased it in my town and it would have contained 5 percent ethanol.
Just about finished cutting wood for the winter so when I was splitting wood today, I ran the splitter out of gas and filled it back up with the REC 90 and stabilized it. I never know if the family is going to put many if any kilometers on our 2002 MXZ 500F or the 03 MXZ 600ho so I’m going to fill them with the it as well

Not worth it for me just to get gas there. I still have to check that Drummond Gas on Merivale Rd.

In Sask we run 10% ethanol in 87 and NO ethanol in 91 premium, I believe the same for Alberta but not for Manitoba.

Changes are coming though due to pressure from the Federal Government and this wont last forever. I am a bulk fuel sales representative in Sask.
