I have a stage two blower on my Apex, I ordered my stage two pullies the other day, not sure what size they are, MPI is sending out the recommended.
My question is the supercharger internal 12.67:1 gearing, would it be the same for a stage two blower?
I was told this is a bigger blower setup.
I also wanted to get your opinion on running a Pure Logic fuel controller with a blow off valve, I was told that when you set it up at lower elevations, you would not have to touch it afterwards good from 1000-10000ft. sounds to good to be true! I found I was always playing with my controller and wasnt as happy with the S/C as I was hoping, however with my stage two system and running at 1:1 pulley ratio 24t x 2, I was always under reving, we set it up at 2000ft to run 10500RPM, just couldnt hold those RPMs at 6-7000ft.
On the chassis Dynometer we got 118hp at the track (236hp at the motor)

BTW, I love your posts, you have no idea how much you have helped me with my supercharger issues.
Giving it another year with the stage 2, probably going Alpine turbo next yr.

My question is the supercharger internal 12.67:1 gearing, would it be the same for a stage two blower?
No, the Stage-II is 9.49:1 with a max impeller speed of 120,000
Example: 10,500 (engine rpm) x 9.49 (supercharger) x 1.18 (26/22 pulleys) = 117,581
Was told this is a bigger blower setup
Yes, it is maxed at 450-CFM where the Stage-I is maxed out at 312-CFM
Pure Logic fuel controller sounds to good to be true!
Then it probably is
Blow off valve
YES !!!
Just couldnt hold those RPMs at 6-7000ft.
Reduce primary weight for more rpm at altitude
You have no idea how much you have helped me
You're welcome
Giving it another year, probably going Alpine/Powderlites turbo next year
That makes two of us

Been thinking about keeping this one for a poking around sled and getting another Apex with a 28RS/500-CFM on it for a go-fast sled...(If Dave "hooks me up"...lol)
