I am looking at buying an 04 warrior...so four strokes are new to me.
Can anybody answer these questions for me.

What does the ecp do for you (performance gain)???
Do you have to re clutch or rejet??
What is the price???
Can any moron like myself install these(not a complete tard, but no mechanic)
What is EVAC ( I don't understand what this is), and DO I have to have it with ECP filters???

Any finally with both items installed, will I smoke my buddies clutched firecat???

Thanx for your help

Welcome onboard Heritage

ECP performance:
The filterkit along with jetting, spark plugs, new carbs springs, will give you about 5 HP more 10400 peak rpm and around 18 HP more at 6000 rpm. Low end torque is a lot higher than stock as you can see.

Jetting:
You have to rejet from 135 to 165 main jets for flatland riding 0-2000 ft.

Clutching:
Yes you have to reclutch check out http://www.thespeedshop1.com or http://www.ulmerracing.com for great kits for this application.

Price:
I paid about $240 USD + shipping

Install:
Yes you can if you can turn a screwdriver

Evac:
This is a system that modifies the ECP filter kit and add hoses from crank case to air filters to remove pressure from the crank case. RX-1 has a crank evac as stock. If you take a look under the hood there is a hose coming from the crank at pto/left side of the engine going to the stock air box. The evac kit is not madatory but I would recommend it. Many riders reported loss is top speed without the evac. After installing it top speed numbers came back.

Smoking F-cats?
If you can hook up I guess you can. Not in a sanctioned race against a perfectly tuned and studded '03 F-cat tho.

Post a tread and ask who and how to beat a f-cat.

I wish you good luck with your 4-stroke, think snow :D :4STroke:
