Interesting that Yamaha has incentives on the '05's that I was told run thru March.
FWIW, my local shop has at least 3 RSRages. And is asking ~$7200.
I'm in the same boat. I think I'm going to wait. This will be my first sled, and a friend has one I can use for a few trips this season.

If you can wait about 3 weeks and still get a deal on a 05, then I would wait. But dont over expect on the 06's. Im thinking a twin 4-stroke around 90 - 100 hp for a entry sled. I dont think YAMAHA will have EFI for some time yet. They will not need it until 09 or 10. YAMAHA is tying to keep the cost down on ther new sleds as much as possible. " but what do I know ". Ther is one thing I know, The 05 RX-1 is a blast. So far I love it...
