OK here's a crazy question for an electrical genius.

I just had a PIAA single bulb HID conversion system installed on my 2009 RS Venture GT. It works perfectly, but the high beam idiot light is on all the time, regardless if the high beam is on or off. My mechanic came clean and said this was the first one he has installed and has no idea why this is happening.

(He also installed a PIAA crystal ion yellow bulb in the low beam housing.)

Can't wait to try it, needing snow, and just want to make sure it isn't causing a problem.

Any idea?

Sounds like there is something amiss. You have something back feeding causing the high beam indicator light to stay on. It could be caused from a missing ground or power supplied to the wrong place.

What does this mean?
The light pod is split into two seperate light housings both doing the same high\low beam.
