Stock sleds with ice rippers are an exellent idea! Just don't tag an extra "G" on the price tag for it!

I totally agree, then, can a guy still add studs to it if he elected to? I don't see why not, but i can't remember exactly what they look like.

On my second Ice Ripper XT, had it installed at the dealer before I even picked my sled up! Love the Ice Ripper XT and would love to have it installed from the factory.

Never needed studs, will probably never stud a track. I don't race on ice and our trails don't get icy for long, they just melt away in the spring.

Done... Never will run studs again...
If you cant handle the corner slow down..Its a trail not a race track..

Its not all about the corners. Its about the families and other people on the trails that might be stopped when you come around an icy corner and slam into them.. It happens here year after year with unstudded sleds. Too bad people don't realize they are not the only ones on the trail.. The benefits far outweigh the risks when it comes to studs..

Of course this topic has been hashed out a thousand times and everyone will never agree on it.. To each his own..

I always thought an Ice Ripper track should be a standard option with all new sleds. Sure would be easier if all OEMS did that!

This is true with people thinkin they are only ones on the trail, but that still goes back to you should expect it. obviously there are other people out there so you should be able to handle the sled without studs in it. but the is just my opinion...
