I have a tether I took off my King Kat and pretty sure this will work. In the mess of wires covered by the rubber wrap is it the brown and white corded wires that are from the kill switch and if I remember right I use the brown one to connect the tether?

Just make sure it is normally open with the teather off, closed with the teahter on.
Cut in to the Brown White wire (I think!) at the ignition switch.

Western Power Sports has one that mounts to the handle bar and comes with long enough wiring to reach the cluster under the cowl. Normally closed tether line. Put mine on Friday and works great
