Ok so after some testing I've got my new after market exhaust which is under tunnel mounted as quiet as the stock one.
Its a yoshi RS-3 CARBON pipe that mounted under the tunnel on my mtn.
All I did to get stock sounding was weld a small inner perfirated tube on and thats it. It still has a straight though design which doesn't loose preformance.

Where are the pics? Vids? How much weight did you save?
I would like to do something similar, but make the pipe exit out the back and not under the tunnel.

no problems, with track, there's enough room under there but you need to mount it real close to the tunnel.

do you ever have to repack that exhaust and if so do you have any idea how often? how many hours of riding?

Do you have a pic of the tube that you welded in?

don't think so, its a 3" long tapered cone that I welded in the end. I'll have a look for pics.
