TY 4 Stroke God
Here is a pic of my 3rd place win in our local cross country race in Alaska. I raced semi-pro, 6 laps, a total of 132 miles in 2 hrs 36 minutes resulting in an average speed of 50 mph. That may not sound like much but I was hauling #*$&@, routinely doing over 100 mph on the straightaways and on the lake.
Anyway, I'm pretty proud of my accomplishment and very pleased with my sled's performance. It was stock except for a Nytro rear shock, Nytro windshield and CC Machine (Lumby, BC) steering post relocation kit. My dealer, Eagle River Yamaha (Eagle River, AK) helped out a bunch and provided stiffer front springs and a pit. No significant problems with my sled, no tunnel buckling or front arm failures like I've seen on this site. Not saying they don't happen, just that I beat the piss out of my sled and nothing broke.
Thought those of you with Vectors might want to see that our sleds are very capable. In the photo, I'm the old guy on the right
. If anyone else races, I wouldn't mind hearing about your set up!
