I have a 14 XTX with egged out holes where the front shock mount attaches, I was wondering if anyone had used the SPI rail repair kit, they are sold by a few places including Barn of Parts. It is intended for the shorter tracks, but I was wondering if the location can still work on the 141 rails. I tried asking on the facebook page with no luck, hoping the post might not get lost over here.

I used them on my AC F1000, they worked well. Not sure why they would be considered "intended for shorter tracks".

The instructions say for use on 129/137 tracks, no mention of the 141 or longer, but I'm wondering if it just has to do with bolt holes and getting the wheels on.
The kit is a couple of machined metal blocks with a groove to match the rail, and then 2 holes drilled in it. Its supposed to bolt in place over the egged out hole and then you use a new, longer bolt to reattach everything

I would like a picture of it if possible. Can this be used anywhere on the railsThe instructions say for use on 129/137 tracks, no mention of the 141 or longer, but I'm wondering if it just has to do with bolt holes and getting the wheels on.
