Not sure why Both Cat and Yamaha dont list the MTX shock lengths. This info is getting harder to come by. I think your best bet is to just grab a tape measure and head to local dealer to measure them. We know for sure in 18 the 129's got different front arm and the shock off 137" and none of that is shown in the specs. I guess the specs are not reliable.
I know topic is on xtx. But what changed for ltx for front arm and shock? I need a new front arm. Would this be a upgrade for me????

They made front arm longer I assume same as 137. If so it won’t fit.I know topic is on xtx. But what changed for ltx for front arm and shock? I need a new front arm. Would this be a upgrade for me????

14 & 15 rails are the same but i know for a fact 16 rails will not line up with 14 suspension components

This is something i did a lot of looking into, i had an issue with my rails so decided to replace and went with blue ones from a 15.. little more "beefed up" from 14s, only thing i found was that one of the set of holes were 10mm where as 14 they were 8mm, i thought about drilling/tapping out cross shaft but decided i wanted to try and avoid the hole egging out and machined up a steel bushing for the hole but i put these lists together when making the decision on what rails and colors i wanted to go with this is all for a 129"
