RAP vs Quebec

Your english seams a lot better then my French! Haha I totally agree with you, no matter what you hear.. I always find the people friendly, trails are 9 out of 10 all the time, great places to stay.

i have done the rap tour, rode quebec a few times but for me,nothing beats northern ontario trail wise, they are super highways ,wide and very well groomed, quebec seem to have more lodges, the service is great, but i find the trails a little narrower in places compared to north ontario, the rap tour is overated i find, alot of twisty, tight trails and grooming not up to par,but still alot of fun

My fav loop so far was: north bay- Killarney - sault st Marie- wawa- dubreuville- Hearst - cochrane - new liskeard - north bay..

Unfortunately the trail from sault to wawa is closed..which sucks cause it was awesome...

Seriously consider this and go up at Elliot lake instead

I've never done either...well I've done parts of the RAP...but from what my buddies have said...Quebec is hands down better....another destination to consider is New Brunswick...my buddy raves about it.

Many options for loops or day trips in NB and the Gaspe from here in the Campbellton/ Dalhousie area. If you every get down this way be sure to stop by. ;)!

We always stop at the eco centre on our way through elk lake great place with a great manager.

I have done both many times, I would lean towards the Quebec route as the snow conditions would be more consistent from day to day, as you are riding at higher elevation. Nightly entertainment is also "much more abundent" if the loop is planned properly. Trail passes in Quebec are available for short terms or you could incorporate their no trail pass required weekend in Feb.
