I have a 2003 660 Raptor that cuts out while i am riding the trails. It usually happens when I hit a bump at midrange throttle. (At full throttle and idle it runs awsome.) I have heard 2 stories about this problem one being that the raptor is supposed to be ran hard (i can only hang on for so long) and the other being that my stater/cdi box is bad. I've already replaced the cdi box and its the same story midrange throttle the raptor feels like it is gonna fall on its face. I would like to know if anyone else has had this problem and what was done to fix it.
Thanks, Seth Vlieger

Sounds like you have a loose wire somewhere, that is shorting out, possibly in or around the cdi box, which is causing it to cut out. Pull your plastics off, and start looking. if you don't find one, then its inside your cdi, and replacing one of those is easy.
