A friend of mine has a 2014 ltx that keep throwing a po261 code. he has had it to the local dealer for service and they change the injector related to this code and also changed plugs. It still showing this code from time to time.
What could be causing this and could it cause damage if not solved for a while.

More than likely bad pin or wire in wiring harness to that injector. Sometimes intermittent electrical you just have to throw parts at it if cant duplicate in shop. Push for new engine to ecu harness.

Did he try to disconnect the battery while the key is on and turn off the key after disconnected try that
