really, How fast?

I keep hearing different opinions... Does the apex run alot better than the rx1? I just sold my 03 hh & ecp rx1 to my cousin, what am i gonna have to do to the apex to still be out front?

In all my experiences the filters didn't help all that much!
Your clutching did much more for you than the filters!
You can clutch the new one & be much better off than before, it sould like from the people thats rode them!!!

I rode them back to back, the response and how fast the apex revved was incredible! it was, in stock state, the apex ALL OVER the rx1. just hit harder, smoother, and revved quicker (thanks efi and lighter crank!) no worries. and like it was said, BREAK IT IN PROPERLY!! PATIENCE IS REWARDED!!!!!!!

keep in mind

that thru 05 the speedo was off by 12+ on the high end.
The new gauges are said to be off only by about 6 MPH

The 123 or 124 mph you were able to go was that on packed snow,or just ice with little snow,near perfect conditions,if it was on groomed snow that darn fast,even if the speedo is still off 12-15 but if it is actually only off 6 mph WOW thats very fast....

I ran against an Apex. I was completely stock with 4400 miles on mine. No matter how you put it, the Apex will top the RX in handling, acceleration, and top end. After spending a day with one, there is no doubt in my mind this is a different sled.

I had a jump on the Apex and it still passed me. I was topped out and it still passed me. Stock for stock against an RX, the Apex is unbeatable.

From what we seen last weekend the only way your going to pass an 06 is with N20, turbo or a Super Charger. We had around a dozen 03-05 RX's running on the lake against an 06 and no amount of clutching, jetting, gearing, exhaust or filters was enough to beat the 06. ===SRXSRULE===
