My rear axle never tightens on my rails. I get the nut tight and torqued, but you can turn the entire axle with a socket. Is this right? I added the 4th wheel kit.

Are you sure that you have all the spacers and in the right positions?

Yes as far as I can tell.

I haven't checked mine, but that could be, all the bushings should be against bearings, except the 4 that go against the rails. now you got me thinking about this.

The bearings are my thought also.Teamblue4 said:I haven't checked mine, but that could be, all the bushings should be against bearings, except the 4 that go against the rails. now you got me thinking about this.

I'm thinking you're missing a washer. Check the microfiche for locations. There should be four and they all sandwich the rails.
That being said, I had the same problem on my son's Phazer. I did modify the axle to add a fourth wheel so I might have missed a measurement by a fraction. Or possibly it was loose at some time and the aluminum spacer spun, grinding it down a bit. I just wound up adding a washer under the nut.

Mine does do this but you have to force pretty hard before it does it. Put in Yamahas 4th wheel kit as we messed up on the cut on the home made one and I made shure all the spacers and washers where in it as it had been apart for 3 months waiting on the kit.

Roadrunner and Mooseman, I will check the micro fiche and see. I actually added a washer because I thought that maybe the nut was bottoming out on the shoulder of the axle. I'll have to keep digging.
