Has anyone removed the rear bumper on there viper? I wanted to powder coat mine but after looking it over there are like 18 3/16 rivets per side and 4 or 5 heavy duty structural rivets aswell. If anyone’s done it what did you use for those heavy duty rivets

What about replacing them where did you get them and what type of rivet gun did you use to installGrinder.

I removed the stock bumper and replaced it with a heavy duty bumper with a hitch. I drilled out all the rivets . The new bumper came with small self tapping torx screws that worked really well..

I've had to replace rivets that shake loose on the tunnel as a matter of maintenance. You can get the rivets from your dealer. They aren't as cheap as buying in bulk, but they are the right ones and the right color. I looked and imagined pulling the bumper but that's as far as I would go! Brutal job, good luck!
