All four went and cooler is slightly bent down. Should I use a button head screw with large washers on both ends and nylocs?

Pisses me off like no other.

Usually your tail light starts to rattle/get loose first

All four ripped off again, I used washer on the back and they still pulled through.

Can I weld the holes with a tig?

Edit.tig welder said bad idea but use a bolt and nylock instead.
I do have these but if the cooler ripps through them it's all but impossible to get them off.
Aircraft huck rivets

Are the holes in the cooler larger than the holes in the tunnel? if so, you have to fix that to make the rivets work, and/or probably go for a longer rivet for more grab. Also, if the rivets are not long enough they won't distort enough to get a good grip. I would use the method @NYTurbo mentioned, clean and simple.

I would go bolt and nylock over the rivet you pictured

I used stainless button head 10-32 x1/2” bolts with stainless washers and nylock nuts. Got them at ace hardware

I tried to post a photo but it won’t download says the file is to big couldn’t figure out how to resize

I did m6 cap bolts, washers on both sides, blue loctite on the thread, and a nyloc.

Torqued to about 150in-lbs
