I have a 2017 LTX-LE with 10,000kms, I added the extra two outer wheels on the rear drive axle when I got it but I’m not thinking after 10,oookms I should be replacing/updating that triaxle. Any thoughts on how long these triaxles last? If updating I understand the 2019’s came with a new rear drive axle that had larger/better bearing and thoughts on that vs some of the other aftermkt axles??

Just replace your tri axle bearings. Years ago you couldn't replace the bearings but now you can.

I have the same setup as you and I have 14,400 km on mine and have not replaced any bearings yet.

11000 kms on mine. I replaced the bearings at beginning of the season at 7000. The bearings are cheap enough that I do all the idlers and rear axle bearings every season.

At this point is likely best to keep replacing the bearings regularly. I installed a Larson racing (independent wheels) 4 wheel kit. Well made, very robust. - but expensive. Since its been on the sled from day 1 and i plan to keep it for awhile its worth it.

The new sleds wih the 3 wheels have a different size slot in the rail for an axle. A 2019 and 2020 skid is not the same as 17,18.

Just checked my '17 ZR9K with 4000 miles on it and the bearings in the tri axle were still like new.

I make a solid axle kit that utilizes a 1/2” diameter bolt for an axle.

If tri hub wheels have replaceable bearings i juat cut the posts off to make them solo wheels to use with my axle kit.
