2013 Vector LTX
I'm missing 1 of the bolts which appears to secure the rear handle (2013 Vector LTX). The issue is that I can't find the bolts in any of the Yamaha parts diagrams (neither did the closest dealer). The bolt has either a 6 or a 9 (I can't find any 9 flange bolts in the parts, so I'm thinking it is a 6 - more later). Bolt is 20mm long flange bolt. So, today I picked up a 95817-08020 (8mm dia and 20mm long (black) bolt. The kicker is that both my original and this bolt are about 7.81mm dia. The question becomes, how are 2 bolts with a 6 and an 8 the same dia, unless the numbers are simply bolt strength or material? Anyone have any input on why the bolts aren't on the Yamaha parts diagram, and any reason to not use the substitute bolt?
Thanks.
I found a picture in another thread of the bolts.

The bolts are shown, item #4 (95817-08020-00). The diagram is confusing because it doesn't show the tunnel extension, but this is the correct diagram.

The numbers stamped on the OEM bolts could be related to tensile strength, but those particular numbers are not an industry standard I'm familiar with? I wouldn't go to a dealer for these bolts. Buy a replacement 8.8 class (minimum) bolt at the hardware store. If you're still unsure, use a 10.9 class and there will be no question about strength.

Thank you. That is them, I didn't notice the QT of 4 in the parts list.
Safe riding...

The numbers refer to the metric equivalent of "grade". Like an (USA/Imperial Grade 5 or Grade 8 bolt.

Thank you for the responses. I should have figured out that the number most likely indicated the grade type and not the size, having worked with special grade bolts.
I have also now confirmed that 95817-08020 (Black) replaces 95822-08020 (Shiny). So, I will swap the bolt on the black bracket with the replacement. I have also put Blue Loctite on these bolts. Pretty tough to lift the rear if the grab handle falls off.
