a friend of mine picked up an 08 apex ltx gt 40aniv. with 1600 mi. on it in excellent shape except the rear harness going to the shock was torn in two he replaced it but now he can not get the shock mode to come up on the speedo. screen anyone have any idea`s as to what is going on ? the only time the shock comes up on the screen is when the key is first turned on then it goes to your fuel gauge and will not come back even when he steps though the different screens with the mode button. what gives thanks in advance

the sled won't "see" the ohlins if the wiring is still open, which I assume is the case here. any force strong enought o break the wire or connector, surely pulled the leads out of the on-shock solenoid.

like darv said, probably the adjuster switch wires on the shock broken inside. had to replace mine this year. i paid around 84.00 from bruce at pioneer performance.make sure you route the wires correctly or you will tear them again.always de-ice the suspension around the shock before riding is the key to longevity for these shocks wires.
