Got some quality seat time this past weekend on the attak gt's. These sleds are IMO great sleds. The more miles put on the more the fun factor goes up. Superb quality. Put on simmons skis with shapers and  Wow! Money well spent. A must for these sleds IMO.

I feel the rear skid has too much rebound in the rough terrian (2ft+ chop) I got the rebound dialed to max. My wife on her attak has already commented the same. After riding a few miles behind her the sled no doubt is like a basketball in the rough. Anyone seeing this? Any other suggestions. I did run the adj. the opposite way and received worse results.

My question is where is a good place to send the shock to get revalved? Looking for good workmanship and a quick turn around at a reasonable price. Thanks :rocks:

Bruce Schrader at Pioneer Performance. As soon as he gets more 6.5 kg/mm rate springs, I'm sending my shock to get setup for my preferences. I should also point out that this is not just a spring change, it's also a valving change which has allot to do with rebound and bottoming. Quoted around $190.00

It sucks to have to do it, but there's no way for Yamaha to setup every skid/shock setup for everybody.

I just had my shock done and just had it revalved and rebuilt after 2000 miles because it was bottoming constantly. After I got it back, it is 10 times better. I can fly through the rough stuff without a problem. I only botomed out once over the weekend and it was pretty bumpy. I am about 170 without gear, and I am on the third settign on the cam and 2 settings off soft. Best 50 bucs I have spent.
