hey guys I can not seem to get my rear skid back into my rx-warrior. I can get the rear bogie wheels in the mounts but the middle mount I can not even get the bar into the tunnel.... super frustrated with it any help would be great!! Tim.

Start with the front bolts back and loosen the control rods . The control rods have a 14 mm bolt on the bootom where the white spacers are , you need to loosen that bolt on both sides .

X2

I just take those bolts all the way out of the control rods, loosening them or taking them out makes things much easier.

Guys I have those bolts all the way loose I cant get the center section up I to the tunnel.. I cant get the rear bolts by the idler wheels on no problem

I usually use a ratchet strap to collapse the rear spring and shock to get that shaft to line up.

Take the bolts right off, I just put mine in last weekend with no problems but u need to remove the two transfer rod bolts

I remove one end of the 2 link rods beside the shock all tunnel bolts go in then I use a ratchet strap and collapse the main shock until I can get the bolts back in. Works well for me as I am not a big guy and I am usually working on the ground with the bumper supported.

All you need to do is remove the bottom bolts on the transfer rods, the ones with the nylon washer. All the bolts holes line up with easy, never had to use a ratchet strap in my life and I've put my skid in and out more times than I can count

I started doing it that way on my viper because in canada the 2002 vipers had bearings in those centre rods by the shock and I greased them while putting the skid back in.
