The stock small track idler wheels on the new phazer's are JUNK! Mine were warped before I rode the sled. Now the wheeles are beat up badly and more warped at a pitifull 100 miles!!! Does Yamaha have any better wheels, like perhaps some that are straight and are rubber coated??? I am calling my dealer tomorrow, I hope he will set me up with some better parts!

Do a search, many have had that issue...including myself. There is a real good thread on here with suspension pictures. The #18's on mine failed, dealer replaced with the midseason Apex wheels. I haven't had a chance to try them out...shoud be a good fix with the rubber outer.

Dealer is setting me up with new rubber rimmed wheels from an apex. The replacement wheels do not have the holes in them. My dealer says the holes are part of the problem (weakens an already margial part). The purpose of the holes is to allow the removal of the center shock without removal of the front arm. The front inside wheels are not easy to remove and install, lots of parts must be removed to get the cross shaft out. It took me about 30 min to remove the bad wheels. Tomorrow I will install the new wheels.
