Rear Storage Bag

I was curious as to the conditions in which the bags are getting soaked. 4th wheel kit installed? Off trail/on trail? Because I can see the track flexing and grabbing a lot more snow and throwing it up. obviously snow dust is a culprit when the snow has low moisture. Just curious
I can't speak for the bag getting wet but my whole backside did last ride of last year. Spring riding, Warm slushy snow, (curves actually turned, that was nice). Running the trihub at the time, no flares or bags, I was drenched from neck to knees. I have the combo saddle/tunnel bag that I know will stop me from getting soaked. I would have hoped the bag was waterproof for the cost of it

Well with any luck I will find out Friday, I'm gonna play hookie and head to Newport and try out the sled for the first time. I have the tunnel/saddle bag combo also with a 4th wheel kit

What are you guys using for a rear storage bag on your Vipers? My 14 LTX Se came with the small bag behind the seat and I replaced it with the bigger Yamaha one that comes on some Viper models. The problem is after going on a 150 mile ride on groomed trails ( no deep powder in southern Minnesota this time of year ) the stuff inside the bag was soaking wet, my extra gloves and tools and my Polaris pulling rope were all wet. I went with the Yamaha bag thinking it was better and water proof. Shoud'nt have to pack everything in plastic bags, should I ?

I use the medium skidoo linq bag. Very happy with it.
Used it all last year and nothing ever gets wet in it.

Installed flairs this weekend. The only problem was the self tapping torx screws that came with the flairs were to small to fit in the pre drilled holes in the bumper.A trip to the hardware store for #12 screws and washers fixed that. Simple install That seemed to keep snow off the tunnel bags, on the sleds.

hmm maybe that's why the dealer installed mine in diff' holes and with diff' hardware.

I just drilled into the bumper in different spots. I thought really? Screws too small for the pre-drilled holes? Really? Must of been a cat thing...

I thought the same thing. Whats up with that,is nothing easy without "rigging" something?
