Wow I just noticed on that features pic of the skid below it it says it comes on the Viper LTX LE also. If you look at my highlighted specs from the same flyer. It's not listed on the viper. LOL

It doesnt matter. Keep it seperate from that survey since that survey is about your dealership experience. I never asked what the consequences of it was other than ranking but Dealer I worked for took it very seriously. Your call though. Dont blame you one bit.I gave good marks for the dealer. In the comment section when asked what experience could be improved I said; send me the sled equipped with the stuff that Yamaha said I would be getting as in the RR rear skid. Don't bait me with the goods then not deliver.

Well, truth be told the sled was filthy. They showed me nothing on the sled, Erroneously told me it came with a 4 year warranty, took my check and left me to load it up. Too busy trying to sell Polaris and Doo sleds to people that were there. It doesnt matter. Keep it seperate from that survey since that survey is about your dealership experience. That sucks. I really do believe you guys are going to be amazed by your sleds this winter. It will all be worth it!Well, truth be told the sled was filthy. I noticed this as I have a 17 viper. If you look at Yamaha's website it still lists the viper as a race suspension. I'm sure Yamaha never noticed as the sidewinder is getting all the attention and it hasn't been changed.

There are a few other things they didn't fix either. I'm not telling them what they are. If they don't know their own products its their bad..I noticed this as I have a 17 viper. I also talked I a couple people at the sled show, the first time at the yamaha booth there was no rep available so I talked to one of the dealer salesman an mentioned about the skid and he didn't even realize the skid wasn't beefed up and was going to talk to the rep about this also. I come back an hour later and was able to talk to a rep. He pretty much told me then didn't realize cat wasn't making the arctic cat skid anymore. He said they went with the standard rails as they are lighter and strong, he said they beat on these sleds and never broke anything and I told him I didn't care and that wasn't the point I bought this sled because of what was advertised and to spend $20,000 on something and it not being exactly as described is a piss off. All he could do was apologize, I told him I will never spring order a yamaha again if they pull this bait and switch. He said they are going to have meetings about this issue this week, I told him if there is no RR skid the least they could do would be to swap out the weak parts like the upper cross shaft and lower shock mount shaft and put the RR version in, he was open to the idea and was going to mention it in there meetings. So who knows if anything will come out of this but I guess we will see. I measures the skis rails and the LE are the same thickness as the SE. I did notice that the tunnel running boards are thicker then the se version, seems like there is an extra piece of metal mounted to the bottom of the running boards, as well as it has the double row of grip on the outside of the tunnel running boards.

Looks like Yamaha Canada has caught up to the 2017 Viper L-TX Specs and revised statement regarding rear suspension......
http://www.yamaha-motor.ca/products/details-build-price.php?model=4753&group=SM&catId=107
Dual Shock SR 137 rear suspension
Bred for the trails but inspired by world class racers, the Dual Shock SR 137 rear suspension gives you a supple 13.5-inches of performance-tuned travel. The SR Viper L-TX LE's high pressure gas shocks take your punishment with fade-resistant action but also offer piggyback clicker for easy adjustment in just a few clicks.

Guaranteed the shafts will fail before the rails! I would love to have the thicker rails but if it doesn't exist I just tried to get anything possible.

Do the stronger shafts require a new front arm or are they the same diameter?
