I know I have the QSR3 shocks in the rear not sure about the RR shaft, competion race skid, arms, or rails. No double set of wheels on the outside like Cannondale27 picture shows. either. What suspension do you have under your LTX LE? You have the qsr3 shocks in the rear, but they have put the standard skid in? Does the cross shaft look like it's standard or is it the RR shaft? Mine isn't in yet but I am not liking the sounds of all these changes.

This is the pic in Brochure but its obviously the 129" looks like the shocks and tunnel is what they consider Race. Maybe even 129 wont have the skid in pic? We will see.

thats the skid they told us we were going to get and thats not what we got (ltx-le)....I could care less about the goggle bag...but instead they should have provided an alternative like a windshield bag..

Any of you that have your LTX LE. Could you take a pic of the shaft and other linkage for Cannondale? I know he knows all about that shaft from his viper posts HaHa.
Thanks!
Now I would like to know why the LE RTX has 2 'outside' idlers per side when the SE only has one? Should the same not apply to the LTX? There must have been a reason for the added wheels in that LE package.
Thanks!

When someone actually gets an explanation or finds something out, please let us know. Still waiting for the call and want to know what to look at right away and if I need to be complaining.

What is very disappointing and an area of weakness in Yamaha's position is that once they knew of the change they failed to communicate it to thier customers. Couple that with having the site take images etc of what was originally proposed is also something that would not be well received in a court of law (at least a Cdn one).

Wow. Now that's a pic lol. Thanks. hmm.. It does seem like it would provide more support on the inside then sticking them on the outside.
True Dual Rate spring on center shock.Nice!

#2 You are so wrong. Look at all the changes Doo made to the 850 after sale. Its legal even in Canada I have no doubt. Doesnt make it wise or right though.

I recently had the skid out of my 2015 SR Viper RTX SE for maintanence. The wheel configuration is the same. Other than the shocks, the only difference to my Viper that I can see is the dual rods running parallel to the rear shock. My Viper only has one rod, which is just below the shock. I would guess they have dual rods running parallel to account for the piggy back on the shock, which would interfere with a single rod mounted just below it. Even the rear arm drop link looks the same. The LE version Vipers were different. For my untrained eye, it looks like an SE skid with better shocks.
