How much sag is too much? The rear suspension will drop down at least three inches and the rear arm sits just past the half way point between the two rear stops. Is this normal? Porkchop's sled sits at the very top of the suspension travel. Push it down and it pops right back to the top? Is this normal (zero sag)?

I remember reading somewhere when I was digging up info on the phazer general forum that if you grease and clean up the skid it removes this sagging. My sled does the exact same thing. Also the torsion springs from the FX model help as well from what I read.

The skid has just been out, cleaned and greased and I have the FX model.

Hygear spacers will make it jump to attention. I did the wife's and along with X-Clicks and even on the medium cam lobe it jumps up with zero sag.

This is normal and all is fine. I posted on here the same concern early this season and the consensus was this was typical. A clean greased skid helps it stand up taller but not necessary. As long and there is resistance and rebound when you push down on the skid after it hits the blocks, you are good. Just ride it!

Mine would actually stick WAY down, took skid out, cleaned and re-greased everything, found a couple worn bushings, sent shocks out for re-valve and rebuild while it was all out. I am so looking forward to it! Went with Shock-Tec there in ONT.

A buddy of mine actually does the rebuilding for me. Just suspected the shocks because it acts completely different than Porkchop's. My bushing are all new and grease. Just redid everything.

Here is my recent thread on this topic. My sled sags some 3" or until it hits the stop blocks. Once it hits the stop blocks my shock seems to work like it should. I have since ridden over 600 miles and it rides just fine.

Thanks Gone Blue, read the thread and it looks like I have normal operation.
