Buddy took his 07 Phazer FX in for a blown shock and was told of two recalls. One for the lower ball joints and one for hard starting(ecu). Has anyone else heard of these? I called and also scheduled mine and was wondering if anyone new if that changed any of the fuel curves and was going to mess up my programmer. Any input would be helpful. Thanks!

Side note. Dealer said it only effected a certain run of Phazers.

if the one year warranty is up are you SOL???
I have brought my wifes in several times and the only thing that has been done is the ecu which did not seem to help the cold start much. they always claim to know nothing about the other issues

No big_red1a mine is a o7 that only had the one year warranty. If I am wrong someone else please set the record straight.

cold start, ball joints and i also had a suspension update where they changed out thelink and the arm. they also did a steering update as well.

fix

I have mine at the dealer as we speak this is what they showed me Hard start , Ecu update , steering ball joint stuff , high altuitude kit (we are to low so it doesnt apply here in NY _) the fan that some people have gotten was not in the computer and the suspension update was not in there either , so one dealer says they will do them and another says sorry its not available for us to do , how do we get this stuff fixed before the machine we have spent huge amounts of money on breaks and turns a great season into a bad one , I can say this im thinkin about selling all my Yamaha stuff , 2005 Kodiak , Pw50,s , jackets hats and boots . Then I will buy Skidoo,s , yamaha seems to be going down hill fast ,I am so piss-d that Yamaha cant get there s--t together and take care of the problems with these sleds once and for all , ive even sent the area rep a few words of wisdom .I gues wel see how the Dealer my Phazer is at makes out , if they do what they say il start buying from them .

i think i forgot about the rivets in the airbox too.
