What model of lowrance is this, Elite 4 ? Does it have a direct line to the battery? Looks like what i'm after. What did you use to mount it.

Yes, that is the Lowrance Elite 4 HD. The mapping software is from VVmapping. I have been working with them for several years. All of Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana and alot of Minnesota are charted plus nearly all Forest access routes. I used a Ram mount 1" ball mount. On the bar risor I built an alum plate the slid inside the risor and through bolted. So no holes were drilled into the machine anywhere. The wiring went to the accy plug and is fused, only on when the key is on.

The sled is now 200 miles away. But basically the 1" ball mount has a 2" diameter mount. The handlebar extension is hollow so I slid in a 2" wide alum plate inside the extension then through bolted. Basically the extension is sandwiched in between the ram mount and alum plate
