I just bought one of these and was wondering if anyone has one and how are they? Any feedback is appreciated.

I bought the Reima premier bibs three seasons ago and still wear them. I like the re-inforced knees and full length leg zippers. They also have the right amount of insulation. Some bibs have too much insulation where you got hot and sweat. Bottom line, I would buy them again.

Some of the Yamaha clothing is made by Reima and after wearing mine last year it is very good quality. Had the jacket last year and bought the bibs this year. Keeps you plenty warm and material is very durable.

That's great feedback guys. Especially Iron Dog. That is one hell of an impressive race! That to me is the true test of man/machine. Hey Iron Dog would you run that race with the RX1 or are you already planning to? Is the RX1 competetive? I think we would all be interested to hear your thoughts?? :D

Reima BIBs

Bought the Yamaha / reima gortex jacket last year with my RX-1. Love the jacket so much I bought the Reima gortex bibs this year.

Now to get a chance to try them out.

RX Wonder.....2 words....Hell YES! Unfortunately, it's a young man's race. I was 42 when I ran it and it damn near killed me! Plus I ran the race with a broken wrist (had to rebuild the cast twice during the race).
Is the RX1 competetive? I think this sled was built for this race. This is a high speed, long distance race. As long as the sled holds up well, there's no question in my mind. Last year, unfortunatley the race was cancelled due to lack of snow. So we didn't get to see what the RX-1 could do. Hopefully a team will enter this year riding the RX-1's. (Only 1 team had entered last year's race).
As far as the Reima gear...I'll never buy anything else. I've put this stuff through hell...and can't wear it out! Can't tear or rip it, all the snaps and zippers still work like new. Have to zip out the inner liner if riding in 10F. or warmer weather. Just make sure you buy a color you like........cause you'll have it for a long time!!
