Remapping update

Now, I was talking with the guy and his words were they raised the rev limiter to 9,250 and I am hoping I confirm this friday night :)

I was out playing in the field last night and saw a recall of 9200. This was a track spin launch flash to 9200 as it does not run that high with my clutching yet. On a normal roll in I would see 8800 if I hit the dip in the field. If I waited until I crossed the dip I saw 8600. I was surprised to see 9200 though.

The stock sled that I demo rode late last season definitely bobbled on the limiter when I tried to launch it hard. I did not here this from mine.

I had reflash done and reset recall and made a couple of runs and watched the tach the whole time only seen 9100. I hit recall and it read 9240. I never heard or felt the rev limiter.

I've got 1000 km's on the reflash. It starts in the cold, I haven't seen an error code, and I haven't had a warm start issue. That said, it still isn't as good as my Nytro's. The idle is rough (hunts up and down) and sometimes it will not start in the cold on the first try. I don't try more than 5 seconds on the first try, then I leave it for 30 seconds or so, then try it again and it fires right up. So better than last year, but not perfect. youtube.com/gofenkoa

Well Yellow its nice that it made some difference!!! I know its not perfect but better right?

The big question is are you planning to go Doo or not?

If I didn't have to have the sporty performance of the Yamacat, the 900 Ace is all I really need.

Absolutely. After I finished testing recently I concluded that the new mapping is a success for me, and allows the sled to start down to -40. The morning of that last cold start at -38 C, I ended up at the lodge and had a NEW unrelated starting issue. It just never ends ;-)

Stay tuned to find out what I do next ;-)
