And put a little grease on the boots when you slide it back on it makes it way easier and the boots won’t fold over

And are these hose clamps that fasten the rubber boots of the airbox onto the carb inlets, are they supposed to have this bend/crimp in them; note first picture with the pen pointing to the "crimp" I'm noting. Other pics shows 3 of the 4 this way to varying degrees, the 4th is mangled. I think a butcher owned this before me; (all due respect to butchers out there )

Yes, those are the clamps that go around the rubber boots on your air box. Notice the little U-shape notch on the clamp. On each rubber boot, there is a rubber dimple that goes into the notch. As for getting to those bolts, this tool set would bode you well.

Thanks Robx. My big question is: Can I do this without taking headlight structure off? It sure looks to be a ton easier if I do. I have allen wrenchs up the wazoo so not worried about having the right size or anything, though those do look lovelyYes, those are the clamps that go around the rubber boots on your air box. I always remove the headlight as it is much easier. What I’ve read some do is just snug up the clamps so you can remove airbox without having to remove headlight and then slide it back on but I’m too anal and want the air box on snug and tight.
