Just a little heads up hear, I've had mine removed almost since new, and I have been having trouble with stuff breaking in the skid. The latest is the front arm in the rear suspension completely broke apart at the bottom tube where it is bolted into the rails. There is no other damage to the suspension and the only thing we can figure out is that by having those coupling blocks out it is putting pressure on that front arm causing major damage.

Yeah, without the blocks, I'd imagine it would make the skid way too soft, and bottom out on just about everything.
