Is there an easy trick to removing the rear torsion blocks without having to remove the rear skid ?
thanx.

If you mean the adjusters yes! Just release the spring from the slide rails by carefully removing the bolt while keeping tension off it. Spring isn't terribly strong down there

While off grind off the top of the loop. You then wont have to remove it anymore and with RTX there is a wheel in the way also. SwampCat told me this many miles and years ago. Thank him everytime I have to remove skid. The loop part is only for racing to keep spring on perch when a ski gets stuffed into it. If that happens trailriding is bigger issues to worry about than spring coming off!

I've done this to all my sleds over the years , great little mod and makes removing and installing skid SO much easier

I never take mine off, I always almost break a finger or knuckle screwing with them!

Thats preseason training! Need that hand and arm strength to hang on. With the loop ground I usually will just use a hammer handle to guide the long end of spring into the slot.
