I just installed the BOP steering relocate kit and would like to reroute the throttle cable. Is there a trick to removing the cable from the throttle body? I already removed the cable barrel from the thumb flipper. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Probably going to need to reaffix the cable barrel to the thumb flipper as there is another cable barrel on the other end of the cable that goes to the throttle body and attaches there. When you fully press the thumb flipper, it rotates the rocker arm the cable barrel attaches to where one can usually slide a long flat screwdriver underneath the rocker arm so as to hold it in place as you remove the cable barrel from it. May have to use a long handled V-nose plier to aid in removing the barrel from the arm as it slides in from the one side.

Sorry I meant I can’t remove it from the throttle block NOT throttle body.
