Replacing Kill Switch on Nytro

Has anyone ever replaced the kill switch on a Nytro...bought this xtx last season with it broken...still works just have a what looks like a common metal phillips head screw with no red plastic shroud..would like to replace it with a new switch...need a little help here???

I broke mine as well. You can buy just the red plunger from Yamaha. Then you just have to split the assembly and replace it. I believe there is s screw on the underside to open it up.
 
x2, easy to do. also check that the rubber wiper is still good otherwise melting snow may short the switch randomly.
