Can anyone tell me the process involved in getting the bearing and plastic collar off of the drive shaft. Is it pressed on?
The bearing needs to be replaced and I was not able to find any specifics on the replacement procedure by doing a search.
Thanks in advance.

Not pressed on, but there are set screws that need to be backed off before the bearing can be removed.

also be sure not to lose the set screws as the new OEM bearing does not come with them!
I added a drop of Red Thread lock to the set screws when i did mine just as cheap insurance as well!

If you have a large enough pickle fork, it can be handy to put up around the drive shaft and tap on the handle of the fork to push the bearing out if it needs some help. Good luck.

Spray it with some penetrating oil too, give it a tap and it should slide right off. Good luck
