Replacing the headed seat element Anyone done this job ? I have a broken wires feeding the element. So I need to replace the element or solder them back together.
My concern is: the cover is stapled on. I have a regular electric stapler but is that what they use ? You are going from inside to out with the staples. I don't want to perforate my cover nor be stabbed by staples when I ride. I searched unsuccessfully for a video or pics. Any advice ?

mine was replaced under warranty and I dropped it off at 1030 and it was ready at noon so it cant be that hard. Use an upholstery stapler or take it to a guy who has to.
