2016 viper - replaced all the drive bearings and seals over the summer so had the chaincase, etc all apart. Have about 500 miles on since then - all is good except when I put it into reverse the R on the dash pops for a short time and disappears and I only get a single beep. Reverse works fine though.
I believe the beep sequence was fine after I put it all back together this summer.
Any ideas? Wiring connections near the actuator seem fine.

the speaker is under the Left side of the hood by handlebars. Round with two wires that plug into it. Wires can come off while putting hood back on. Ask me how I know. LOL

Thanks - I'll check that, but isn't the R on the dash supposed to stay on all the time when in reverse? This feels more like some sort of reverse sensor issue.
