reverse light and beeper

Anyone else having problems with the reverse light and beeper not working?.. it works for the first 15 min or so and then the icon doesn't come on and the beeper don't work. Reverse works fine though. Not a big deal but still shouldn't happen

Check the plug for the beeper. It's a 2 or 3 prong plug in on the left side under the console. Can probably see the wiring and plug with the left side panel off if you look up and to the right.

Oh man,just leave it unplugged.it is a pain listening,my beeper is on my left side console,and I just reach in and unplug it,i will thank yourself later,for the quietness.

No beeper on my old boosted 280hp Nytro, forgot I was in reverse and pinned throttle.........................might want to leave beeper on.

Ah is there video of that? worst part is it throws you against the throttle and lays you over the windshield

I just wonder if the OP means it works the first 15 minutes of the day or the first 15 minutes it's in reverse.

Think jake has his problem fixed, hasn't been back since he dropped La Bomba!

I'm sure the software won't let the reverse light and beeper operate for more than 15 Minutes. Too easy to walk away and leave it working and burn out light and / or beeper. Probably have to shut it down and let the system reset to reactivate the function.

Haha.. no I ain't doing figure eights in reverse for 15 min. What I meant was after the sled is running for 15 - 20 min the beeper and dash light (R) doesn't come on when I put it in reverse. Its like it gets warm or something..

Yamadog - I have hit the throttle with my knee when I stood up to look behind me while in reverse...scared the living crap out of me!

Oh, and here is a little tidbit of advice....never hook your heated shield power wire to the positive wire for the reverse beeper...... Everytime you plug your shield wire in, the beeper goes off. (stupid, stupid, stupid)

While returning home after rescuing my neighbor from a ditch my beeper also quit. It was also the first time I remember hearing he radiator cooling fan turn on when I started my sled.

The R icon still lights on the dash as always. Not sure if the beeper still works but I will follow up later today, tomorrow at the latest. I also was not doing figure 8's in reverse! LOL

Thanks, I don't mind the beeper not workin but the reverse light would be nice.. I'm gonna go out and adjust the headlights and see what it does today.
