Riden hard and put away wet!!!

Decided to run to Wawa tomorrow with a buddy(as long as his wife lets him...lol) It's about a 360km ride in the wilderness! We will spend the night there then decide if we keep exploring north or run back!:sled2: Perfect trip to end my holidays then back to the grind!!

Wish us luck!!!
Sound like a good ride! I'm envious, hope you leave some snow for me for when I'm back in a couple weeks. LOL

We are leaving from either north of Tomahawk or Florence and riding sleds to Houghton/Baraga to watch the XC race this weekend. Should be interesting with lack of snow!

Hey yamamarc, do you have any information on the C trail to timmins? I hear there is a bridge the ministry is building but is behind schedule. Leaving the moonlight on 17 in a couple weeks to do the abitibi canyon tour-without that trail, it ain't happinen...

Hey Sparky I haven't been up that way this year but call this lodge and ask them I believe he runs the groomer up that way!!http://www.spruceshillingcamp.com/

If you can't get threw via Ctrail you can take L143!(old logging road) will bring you to Timmins
I'll try to contact a few buddies who went up that way and get some answers!

When was this?

You said old L143 (Grassy Road) is it plowed to gravel at all or snow covered? I am heading up tomorrow night and was hoping to ride Gowganda to Timmins on Friday. Ideally by new L143 (not yet opened).

This was yesterday.
Trail comes out on grassy, then ride the road for a bit. Road was hardly plowed, if at all for about half, other half was plowed but not to the dirt....I had no overheating issues on my sled.

There looked to be a trail that headed west that might have came out on the c South of timmins, but we opted to stay on the road straight into timmins.

From what I understand the Kelly shires group was also going to be taking the same trail later that day.... Not sure what they ended up doing our how they made out.

We are taking the same trail South tomorrow back to Gowganda.

Great ride today up to the canyon

Once again another flawless/trouble free ride!!!;)!;)!;)!;)!;)!;)! We left yesterday and just got back 2 hrs ago and did close to 1000kms! The trails were unbelievable!!!! we hit a logging road for over 2 hrs on the ride and were cruising at 120km/h safely! This was one of the BEST run I have ever done!
My top speed on gps was 171km/h
My buddy's stock 16 viper hit 169km/h(mrbp can)
I am wore right out will sleep like a baby tonight!!lol

All ready to go tomorrow. Pumped!
