rider forward vector???

I have an 05 vector and want to put an apex seat.Wut modifications do i have to do to make this work as well as wut need s to be done at the rear end near the exhaust and tail light.How does this perform and wut do u think??

you will need to cut your tank cover to fit the seat or get a apex tank cover. no mods to tail end, will also need to raise the bars to compensate for the seat rise

Just do the searches, there is a TON of good information on how to make a template, how much to cut, etc. If you are into trail performance, this is a SUPER upgrade to the 05 Vector. Feels like a different sled if you complete the seat upgrade with a bar or riser upgrade that can get the bar a little farther forward.

All I really did was to shove the Apex seat toward the shroud, trace the top outline, then move that line down to the correct distance from the bottom edge. It was pretty easy. You'll have to save the harness connector from your Vector seat. Feel free to ask specific questions if you run into trouble.

I thought the whole chassis was different on the newer/rider forward sleds?

Yes as much rider forward as possible with having a different steering hoop or a steering stem relocation.

No the only difference between these two are the different steering hoop and different bumper mount. Thats about it.

Yeah, it would make it as much rider forward as an 06-07 Nytro. The early Nytros were simply modified Vectors. More rider forward you would need an 08 sled with the DBII or FX chassis or do the mod that Jake is doing with the steering post relocation.
