Replaced the element and it's still not working. I ordered the Mtx element left side by mistake. Didn't realize there was 2 different part #s. Thumb only works when it wants to... I'm lost!!
I haven't checked the Ohms yet as I don't have one of those testers. I have a riser and oft steering relocate.
Anyone have any ideas?

I have found if you have two different part number heater elements installed on your handlebars one will not get very warm. They both need to be the same. I made the same mistake. Mine even ohmed the same. Check for loose connections on your switch and wiring for your thumb warmer.
