The sled is fun and plays with the 300 hp 998 well
It’s good there is another sled to race on the lake again finally

Haven’t posted anything in a long time but keenly keep reading all the stuff here. My 2018 Winder LE running max 17 from TD runs so well I just don’t feel the need to post. Turned 20,000 kms up near Timmins Ont a week ago and runs as strong as the day I tuned it. If you freshen shocks up yearly I don’t need new sleds all the time. Overnighted at Auld Reekie lodge in that area and had the pleasure to watch a guy -20C cold start a Polaris Boost. Wow thats a throwback to bus size clouds of smoke and smelling like a chainsaw when you snowmobile lol. Based on lots of personal experiences with buddies Polaris 850s you can fully expect it to be a shortlived experience having one of these things keep running right. If these turbo ones see 5,000 kms without catastrophic failure it will be a miracle worthy of worshipping. A guy would have to be stupid or crazy to touch one of these or the new meth head Doo turbo two stroke out of warranty. I personally think its a marketing ploy to get A type guys with lots of dough to keep buying crap that makes them feel good but they blatantly know they cant keep because it will fail just when they go to go on a trip or you are on a trip. Ask me how I know how handy it is when buds 850 splits its cases halfway through the Gaspe loop. Constantly stopping at dealers so they can buy the ‘correct’ oil was a non stop piss off too. Come to think of it we would run so hard riding there they had to add oil before the end of every afternoon which was a further irritation. The two stroke guys like if you look over there shoulder during oil refill and tell them the oil you put in your sled in November is still good to go lol. I am glad the Boost is fast on race fuel but for my type of high performance riding it would be a joke between reliability issues and carrying race gas?? TD tuned Winder will go 100 mph for hours on regular in a pinch, personal experience.

I’m stupid I tuned a sled lol
It’s like me saying I like racing so you’re an idiot for riding lots of miles
Posting this info that a lot like to see and it doesn’t mean you but one
Here’s your tune on a 998 he said it’s 280 hp
The 32 oz Boostane can treats 32 gal 91 pump gas
Yes pump gas and trail picks @ 4.5 psi
It’s a true 100 mph in 660 pump gas trail sled
There is no noise on data logs
It’s fun in the woods and tight trails and this one is ringer number two cause the original was burning 106 oct on this same day
Ringer 1 is back there next to old school 1100 tcat

Reread it
No guns to anyone’s heads to buy
I have a head mod on all boosts I work on
The 998 had billet clutches
Does that count
Just sharing info on racing
Not 1000 mile backpack trips
Lol
998 are fast and I know this
I’ve had a lot of them and liked them all.
It’s a good gauge to have fast sleds to compare to. I ride 1500 miles a year and a 2 stroke is just fine with me. We have had 2 months with this sled and 998 is on year 7. I’d say they’re coming along well. The skidoo will also be fast and when this happens cat steps up
860 turbo 2 Stroke
Lol
I’ll have one
I hope they keep a 4 stroke for the guys that run wide open for miles and I don’t hate on them. I would ride my 998 in the country they call it
That’s about it though

Josh, it gets liked, because as I said earlier in the the "Boost Post", no one here gives two shits about a racing boost setup. These are 99% trail guys that ride miles on their 998's. They are not out racing, and they are certainly not racing Polaris Boost's here.
This is also the SideWinder or 998 "Trail Talk" forum, it says so right at the top of the page! No one here wants to hear about it like you think they do.
It's not a Polaris forum. It's not a boost forum. There's not "a lot" here that want to hear about it, I'd wager to say no one here really cares at all if it wins a race.
I'm sure you could find traction on a Polaris forum however, but this will not be the forum where the boost will find any love. Myself, I would even give one a chance or a second look. They/We like the 998's. What don't you understand about this? Come on man.......
Don't be offended we have no love for a two-stroke boost.

Mike, if you don’t care don’t read it. It took you 4 years to get your sidewinder to run and it still would be behind the boost on pump. There’s a pump gas one above. You are the reason I came here.
Ringer lol
I would’ve stuck with two strokes because when you had them at least you were fast
Don’t be offended but I’ll leave now
I don’t drink the cool-aid you push

Don’t you have a sidewinder too? How does your boost compare to it?Mike, if you don’t care don’t read it. It took you 4 years to get your sidewinder to run and it still would be behind the boost on pump. There’s a pump gas one above. You are the reason I came here.
